c.pCO controller (STone ready)

The wide range of c.pCO programmable controllers and the new STone programming tool allow the design of custom software for AHUs, including the most demanding applications.

The STone development environment comes with a wide range of libraries available to software developers to simplify their work, save time, and increase control logic quality. The STone platform integrates the features required by market standards in terms of IT security, so as to protect CAREL’s programmable controllers against unauthorised access, unwanted manipulation and other potential risks.

 

Damper

Dampers are used to control and recirculate air flows, and, where necessary, bypass the heat exchangers. The damper frame, which can be customised in terms of shape, depth and choice of materials, incorporates technological solutions that adapt to all space and air flow requirements. Dampers are available in class 0,1, 2, 3 and 4 in accordance with EN 1751. Class 4 relates to thermal brake dampers, avoiding heat losses and air leakages.

 

 

 

Plate heat exchanger

EXstream is the cross-counterflow plate heat exchanger for heat recovery that ensures high efficiency and low pressure drop, meeting the market’s growing demand for more efficient solutions. Featuring a hexagonal shape and available in a wide range of sizes, it can be easily adapted to suit many designs. EXstream meets hygiene requirements and is certified by HY in accordance with VDI 6022.

EXtream is also available with the hydrophilic adsorption aluminium coating, which improves the indirect evaporative cooling system efficiency and ensures high corrosion resistance.

 

 

 

Adiabatic humidifier 

The HPS adiabatic high pressure nozzle systems humidify the air in air conditioning and ventilation systems with fully demineralised water. High-pressure atomisation enables an optimum spray pattern with minimum energy consumption. HPS meets hygiene requirements and is certified by TÜV in accordance with VDI 6022.
A vortex mixes the duct air with the aerosol spray over the shortest humidification distance. Fast and efficient absorption means there is almost no water loss. The high-quality stainless steel droplet separators guarantee aerosol-free supply air.

 

Inspection window

The OBP.T round inspection window has been developed to meet the interior lighting needs in small-medium sized air handling units without openable doors. The lighting in the inspection window avoids the need to install classic inspection lights, bringing significant cost savings. 

 

 

 

Hinge/handle

DUALSAFE is the innovative hinge/handle solution for the ventilation industry, used to open inspection panels from both the left and right side, without having to remove them. DUALSAFE also makes it possible to open the door from the inside, even when it is locked from the outside. All the hinges can be interconnected, and, in the case of emergency, only one handle needs to be opened to exit the AHU.
