Digital innovation: Virtual Loop and pYC mini

Innovation is at the heart of our proposal, with two key innovations: Stone Virtual Loop, and pYC mini. Virtual Loop, using Digital Twin technology, simulates real thermodynamic machines, revolutionising design and testing by eliminating physical prototypes, reducing costs, and ensuring product efficiency. pYC mini, a new line of programmable controls, meets HVAC/R demands for efficiency, safety, and versatility. It complies with low GWP refrigerant regulations and optimises unit regulation and energy efficiency. Wireless connectivity via the APPLICA app simplifies installation and monitoring, while integration with supervision systems ensures detailed performance analysis.

STone: discover the new programming landmark

The world of programming is experiencing an unprecedented revolution, driven by constant evolution of the technologies and skills required. In the dynamic landscape of programming for HVAC/R units, the challenge of achieving high levels of efficiency without compromising overall system quality is becoming increasingly complex. Software programmers are aware of the changes underway and want to be ready to respond, however in order to do this they need solutions that let them focus on future challenges, eliminating any roadblocks that slow down the development process.

STone Virtual Loop: your thermodynamic assistant

Stone Virtual Loop is the CAREL simulator that creates virtual models of real thermodynamic units, replicating their behaviour and interactions within a system, using digital twin technology. The tool integrates perfectly into the STone ecosystem, revolutionising one of the critical phases in the development of new HVAC/R units. Stone Virtual Loop allows developers to test the software application using a digital model of an actual unit in the field, such as a heat pump, chiller or rooftop, without needing to create a physical environment, often a complex and inefficient process.

Optimised performance, efficiency and programmability: pYC mini

pYC mini is CAREL’s tailor-made programmable controller that provides all the power and flexibility of the STone development environment in a compact solution. pYC mini was created to respond to the growing demand for solutions that can adapt to increasingly specific contexts and applications. Controllers thus require greater variability and scalability. In this scenario, programmability is a fundamental feature, allowing advanced electronic systems to respond perfectly to the needs of each specific application. Intelligent and easily configurable solutions can guarantee high performance, reducing implementation times and increasing operational versatility.
